Cooper S to GP

Traded my 2012 Hardtop S for a 2013 GP. Had to go to the next state to get it, but it was well worth the drive. Looking forward to putting some miles on so I can see what the car will really do!

Congrats! From what I've read, you won't regret it Is this going to be a daily driver or is your MINI just a "for fun" car?

I'm going to drive it, although I live so close to work that last year I barely put 4K on my 2012 Hard Top. It goes from my garage at home to the garage at work.

I was trying to figure out what a GP is. Is it just a JCW Hardtop with special labeling? I was playing around with the configurator and could not find the GP anywhere.

Limited Edition last of the R56 JCWs. Its not on the configurator becuase they have all been built and shipped. Lots of performance mods and JCW styling parts.

Check this sub forum:

Not the configurator, but this is on the MINIUSA website: http://www.miniusa.com/#/jcw/GP-m

They had one of those in my local dealership's showroom. Really nice car. I loved the seats.

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. I think you'll be coming up with ways to motor in your GP beside the regular trip to work. Happy motoring.

Congrats - local dealer has one on the showroom floor, #0205 as I recall, took 'em 2 hours to clean all of my drool off of that damn car. Awesome. Enjoy it!
