I wanted to thank you all for such a great website! I'm a mechanical engineer living in the Tri-Cities area of upper East Tennessee. A couple of years ago, we bought our daughter a 2008 Mini Cooper S for her first car...BIG prank (that's another post...later). I knew these were great cars, but have come to enjoy them even more after making memories with our daughter and her Mini. We attended the 2012 and 2013 Minis on the Dragon. My only minor complaint is the amount of maintenance required for these cars considering she only has 58,000 miles on her Mini, BUT kudos to this website! We ordered the Bentley manual and used posts from this website to complete the water pump, coolant pipe, and thermostat replacements right before the 2013 Minis on the Dragon...and yes, our daughter and I worked together in my shop to complete this repair. I've been working on cars for 35 years. I have been very blessed to keep my first car...a 1968 Mustang GT Fastback. I also have a 1978 Trans Am.
