First time poster here in Evanston just north of Chicago. My pal Eddy and I have ben living together since he was delivered in early 2006 but has only 55K on the odometer. He's a red two-door hatchback with a 5-speed. (If I figure out how to drag photo out of my album, I'll show you a photo one of these days)

I came to Mini the old fashioned way after having owned one when I lived in England in the late 60s. Now THAT was a small car.

Love a late model "S" one of these days but I fear Eddy will be around til my daughter finishes college ... she starts in September BTW.

No matter ... still love him. Drove that convertible coupe as a loaner yesterday. Fun with the top down but too claustrophobic for me otherwise.

Hey Rob, welcome to NAM! 2006 is a great year for MINIs, so if Eddy goes with your daughter one day, well, she's one lucky lady!

I have eternal love for the city of Chicago (and some attachment to Evanston too) and would give almost anything to go for a cruise down LSD as the sun sets over the city.

And every year we have a parade of Miatas in our 4th of July celebration here in Evanston. If we only had three or four other Minis we could clean up in that parade. Maybe I should post an ad eh?
