Greetings from my land of E30s.

Hello NAM! Ive lurked here from time to time but Im getting closer to making the decision to move forth on getting a Mini. Not sure which one yet or which engine yet but im leaning towards a late model hardtop/JCW/aero kit/Pano/3 pedals! I hope to get the body codes memorized here shortly.

But to do this means that I would have to part with my beloved E30 that I have had DDing for the last 8ish years. It was completely stock when I got it. Ive done the suspension, several wheels, engine swap, and other normal e30 upgrades. This car has been 99% reliable. Name: 9ps.jpg

I also have a E30 cabrio as well but its not leaving the stable.

So, ive been wanting a Mini to take place of my E30 coupe. My reserves are reliability and ease of maintenance. Although, I am not to much for the torque-steer, I know its something that I would have to get use to again (previous Honda owner).

Im on the E30 forums quite often so I will stop by NAM more often to get familiar with the Mini lingo and see if a Mini is in my future.

Cheers!
Dan

Wow....those are clean E30s!!!! I wish you could keep the coupe because that sucks having to giver for up after 8ish years. Whoever gets that E30 will have a beauty in their hands. Welcome aboard! 3 pedals is the only way to go in a MINI!

I loved my E30s ('88 & '90). I just acquired my 2009 Clubman S, and I feel like it's a combination of qualities of my favorite prior vehicles: 1990 325i, 1995 318ti sport, and 1999 Civic Si. And a little more.

Welcome to NAM. I must say, that photo of the E30 cabrio makes me want one. I think you will be happier with a MINI instead. Welcome aboard.
