KY MINI with multiple issues

Hey Everyone: Still cool in western KY but should warm over the next few days. Have 2004 Cooper S. Several issues going on right now but with 143000, that should be expected:
1) intermitent power steering loss; PS returns when engine shut off and restarted; plan to take to dealer after talking with North America MINI who swear they will help with replacement cost
2) passenger seat will no longer lay back; have tried the hard rocking technique to realign track assembly but no go at this point
3) backup light out; replaced bulb; still not working; have ordered switch that should be here this Saturday
4)right turn signal will work but when headlight are on, this light will not come on though turn signal will still flash; left turn signal light comes on with headlights and flashes turn indicator as it should; not sure what is issue with right turn light; all bulbs front and rear are good
5) need replacement door sill strips that say Cooper S or Mini Cooper S as do original; had ordered several months ago from Gear Jammin in Seattle but their supplier was not able to deliver

Please give me your thoughts on any of the above. This 63 year old welcomes the input. Thanks in advance.

1) sounds like the power steering pump needs to be replaced. My '02 Cooper S had the same intermittent power steering loss.

Welcome to NAM and glad you to have you with us. Sounds like several issues but nothing that can't be fixed.

Can't help with the mechanical but here are a couple of resources that might help move you along.

Door sills and lots of other good stuff.

Ky multible issues

As far as your electrical issues, It really sounds like your footwell module has gone south. Had very similar issues when it flooded out due to a clogged moonroof drains. Had to replace the module, not cheap. Good luck and keep us posted.
