New MINI Owner in MINIsota
Picked up my 'new' 2006 R50 last week, and I'm loving it. My other car is a '99 Miata and I wanted a car just as fun for my daily driver. The MINI is a tad heavier with a little less power, but what a great driver!
At this point I can't say I'm not worried about maintenance/repair costs. I am used to doing my own work on my vehicles, but I've alrady been brought up short in another thread about reprogramming some of the MINI's options.
Glad to have this resource, though.

Welcome neighbor, and congrats on your MINI!
My first MINI was a '05 R50 and other than a couple of the usual minor nits it gave me almost 100k miles of fun, trouble-free motoring. I hope you enjoy a similar run.
