Car Nut from Buckeye State - HELLO! :-)
Hello fellow enthusiasts, I'm Gary.
Glad to be here. Already enjoying this Mini community in a BIG way.
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Here's my GP story...

I look fwd to getting to know my new car and what it means to be a part of the Mini following.
I "get it."

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
Pictures to come!
Rob, you may not hear it from many Buckeyes, but loads of respect for "that team up North!" (Haha) I suffered through the John Cooper years (no pun, but ironic) as a student and fan so the last decade has been much enjoyed, but I'm sure the pendulum will again swing the other way, soon.

Hi Gary. I was at MAG on Tuesday getting my oil change and got a chance to check out your car while they were finishing up detailing it. There is a group of us in Columbus that get together every third Saturday. I'll send you a PM about how to find us if you are interested.

I remember at least on of my "Wake the Dragon" trips coincided with the Mini gathering down there. Like the S2k bunch, the Minis travel well and are well-represented. I recall a pull off area next to a helipad that had more than 50 minis (mostly classics) and not was identical to another. I was impressed and amazed.

Some photos from today's first drive along the Sciota river.

It's been a couple years since I've road the the dragon's tail.

I enjoy MOTD, but not so much the Dragon. I drive in on it and out on my way home, but generally drive other roads in the area while I'm down there. If the Skyway wasn't so far down and off I-75, Id come in and leave that way, but, gas is just too expensive these days to warrant that anymore.
