!st Time Owner...

30 years ago, my first car was a Fiat X19. A blast to drive. Since then I have had boring, practical cars. I decided to go back to fun. Picked my MINI up last night. For the first time in forever, my commute this morning didn't suck. Oh, the traffic was still bad, and it took twice as long as it should, but I didn't care.

Welcome aboard. You face will hurt for a long time due to contantly smiling while driving.

Your new car will be every bit as fun as the X-19, and it'll work most of the time.

O6 MCS , New to me at 87k

Man I was looking for a fun car to drive. I am a speed junkie 0-60 is me. I was so impressed by the rocket like mini. for a little car this thing goes. I had cars with big blocks that did not go like this. I need info on the best LSD to add to this. and where are good autocross clubs are in the Charleston ,SC area. And does anyone have a used sprint header?

Ah the memories. Many years ago I had an X19, I think it was a '72. The styling and handling was way ahead of it's time, but boy did it need a lot of work. I got stranded several times, but at least it was easy to fix (no computer, ignition mechanical, etc). Even with some of the problems with a mini, it's a blast to drive..
