Hello everyone,

I'm brand new to the site and wanted to introduce myself, my name's Jeff and I've never owned a Mini but I just sold my sweet little original 1962 VW bug for a downpayment on a 2013 Mini Clubman S. I plan on spending quite some time at the dealer this month and finally coming home with my new Mini by the end of the month, can't wait.

Welcome to the forum! I am waiting on my mini roadster to be born and just passing time in the forums. What all makes up the bayswater package?

I'm thinking about going with the Sport or Technology package, what can you tell me about these?

 

Have you gone to the miniusa site? It allows you to custom build and then see what each package has in it and see what it does to the sticker price. My sticker price would not stop going up! Lol! I went with the premium package, cold weather package, sport package and technology package.

 

No I haven't, you know where I'm headed right now though!

The Bayswater is to my understanding a Special Edition.
Its basically a package.
There are only three colors, Black, Blue, and Gray-the Kite Blue is the most common.
I bought the gray-
I like the blue but could only find in automatic and really prefer manual.
Package:
17 inch wheels - Jet Black
Chrome interior
Rocklike Anthracite color line
Bayswater interior- dash has the blue/gray stripes
Seats are lined with Blue/Gray stitching
xenon headlights
Bayswater bonnet stripes

 

yes if its your only car i would go with it all. My mini is a weekend driver so didn't need all the bells and whistles. My hubby has a 2012 JCW- super nice.

the technology package is nice! BE AWARE building a mini too much fun and increases the price!!

Hi Pro5jeff and welcome! I'm sure you will enjoy your MINI. Waiting only makes it better when you get it. Oh mini coop - I'm same as you - liked the first one so much I didn't trade it either, so now I have 2. R50 and R55.

 

Yeah, I was sad to see it go. Keeping my mind off it by spending all my time at the Mini dealership.....haha. I'd send you a picture of the bug but can't figure out how to attach it.

 

Saw the Bayswater edition here at my dealership in Santa Clara, it's a blue one and is very nice!
