Are your fog lights (in the lower bumper, below the turn signals) actually lighting up? Note that the fog lights can't be turned on separately. They only operate if your parking lights or low beam headlights are already on.

follow up Tuesday night

Braminator, first of all thank you for the online manual you attached to this thread the other night! Tonight I went out to find answers to the things that were discussed the other night.

I tried looking for some kind of indicator light near the speedometer when I flipped the toggle switch and I didn't see anything. Tonight is the first time I saw the tiny glass/plastic tip at the end of my chrome toggle for the fog lights. I guess all that shiny chrome did not make me notice it before, in addition that it does not light up.

Braminator, thanks for letting me know that fog lights are an option for the car (I'm not the original owner) and RKW thanks for letting me know where the foglights are located.

Tonight I took a look myself to see what was lighting up when the toggle was pressed. I'll have to ask him tomorrow, but I now believe the lights my sweetie thought were the fog lights were actually two round amber colored lights that are right below the headlights that are probably always lit up and did not come on because of me pressing the toggle.

I've not had the car very long and it has a whole lot more things than my Geo Metro did. I am going to experiment with it at night and turn on the different functions and get out of the car to see what is lighting up where.

Thanks for all the help!
