I have an R50 MINI hatch - metallic gold and black. I have had it for 3 1/2 years. My long suffering partner looks after it for me. He also has an R50 hatch - metallic silver - and an R56 metallic grey clubman.

You seem to get so much tech info and have so much fun on Bimmerfest for your assorted BMWs, I thought I would like to converse with MINI people. You will need to explain some of the tech stuff, but I am sure I can learn.

MINI 'Garage widows'

My partner, MINIFatherFigure, spends alot!!! of time on Bimmerfest both giving and receiving lots of tech stuff. Though he does most of the maintenance on his BMWs (he has 3) and our 3 MINIs, I do all the vacuuming and am allowed!!! to assist in the washing of the cars. He is very particular ( translate 'obsessive') about how all the cleaning and maintenance is done, down to using pop sticks the remove wax from the badges and cleaning under the rubber strips around windows etc. Not quite Concours standard as the cars actually get driven.

So, here I am, hoping to have a little fun and learn some interesting things as well.
Are there any other MINI 'Garage widows' out there????

Well I hope you have lots of fun. you will meet some great people on this site. How about posting some pics of your MINI's. I think it is awesome that you two have a love of MINI's together. Now make him do the cleaning of your MINI so you can enjoy driving it.

As a computer troglodyte, I will first need to learn how to navigate around this website. Thought I would be pro active about looking after my car and so I started a thread about my p/steering problem, but now I can't find it!!!!!!!

Thanksfor your welcome. Hoping to get some photos up soon. It's great to see all the other photos. I have seen some MINI combinations which are awesome. With so many options just for colours and exterior it becomes difficult to choose which you would like. Was just looking at a checkers MINI done in red/white which looked stunning. Makes my basic gold/black seem ordinary

No matter the color, you will make it your own anyway. Chances are everything you do to yours will make it different.
