NEW (to me) Mini Owner!
Hello All,
Just bought a new CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) Mini Cooper. It's an '09 R56 Hatchback, auto trans, run-flats, Pure Silver, black trim, and black roof.
Long story short, I've always been a motorcycle rider (this is the first car I've ever bought, and to give you an idea how old I am, "Color My World" was the prom song). So about a month ago my BMW bike had started to make odd noises, thought I had it figured out... but it finally stopped on me with a "final drive" failure. I'll tackle that issue later this year.
So... having worked at a BMW motorcycle dealership and having used BMW FS in the past, I thought I'd look at the Minis. Had my eye set on a 2013 British Racing Green beauty, ended up with the CPO.
My Dad was a car nut, one of my brothers also a car nut, and my son (while he has a motorcycle) prefers cars. Bottom line, this is the closest to riding a motorcycle with four wheels as I can get.
THIS CAR IS Sooo DANG FUN!
