hi folks!

i just got my first mini - a 2012 chili pepper red cooper s convertible!

i went looking for a new cooper, and couldn't make up my mind between the hardtop and convertible. i had decided on a cooper convertible in chili pepper red with white bonnet stripes, white mirror caps, and the cold weather package. then i came upon this 2012 cooper s convertible with just ~6k miles on it. and the rest, as they say, is history.

i drove it for a few hours yesterday, as we took it to the dealer for a pre-purchase inspection, drove to the bank to get the check, and then drove it back home. unfortunately, my lower back was killing me last night, i'm afraid because of the less than comfortable seats.

i'll have to see if the discomfort was indeed caused by driving the mini, and come up with some solution.

now i have to wait for the seller to get the title / lien release so that i can register it and start driving it...

Welcome aboard. So far the seats have been extremely comfortable for me. I'm 6'5" and have had issues with other car seats before. I love the way I fit in my Mini...of course nobody can sit behind me!

 

thanks! i'm 5' 8", about 200 lb. maybe i can adjust them so that they suit my body better.
