New Dude

Hello all:

First - hello and thanks for all of the help that this forum has provided for me in the first 12 months of Mini ownership. I purchased a 2007 MCS 12 months ago, and I love the car. Sure...the closest dealer is 75 miles away and that takes some getting used to, but I've solved many problems on the car through your posts which has saved a lot of time and money.

Here in Vermont - there are challenges with a Mini - not the least are the frost heaves in Spring and the wear and tear on my kidneys after 6 weeks of bouncing around in the Mini, and craving some long smooth and curvy pavement on a sunny day. I don't care...I still plan on modifying the suspension on this car so that my weekend drives through the Green Mountains are even more exciting.

Glad to be here.

Mike

Welcome!

Rough roads are a problem for me too in northern Maine. Frost heaves and in general poorly maintained asphalt leave my teeth chattering on many days. But, I wouldn't change it for anything as I absolutely love my Cooper S.

Have Fun!

Merry Christmas and move to Florida. Our rode are nice and smooth. Not as curvy but smooth. Having a Mini is more than owning a car.
