Soon to be a Motorer!

Hello!

I'm soon to be a Mini owner (in the 6 to 8 weeks it's gonna take to get my car in). I'm ordering a Mini Cooper S Clubman with the Hyde Park package, and various other accessories. I was searching the vastness of the interwebs for a good forum, and I found this one, so I figured I would join and be in the company of other Mini enthusiasts. I am interested in modifying my Mini, so if anyone knows of good aftermarket parts manufacturers, let me know!

Cheers!

Congratulations on your order. The wait is going to be a difficult one, or at least mine was for me.
Welcome to NAM. This is a friendly collection of MINIacs.
As for your request for good aftermarket parts manufacturers. There are many. It all depends on what type of mod you want to do. Once you get that down, all you have to do is do a web search (adding North American Motoring to the search term) and you will get many personal opinions.
But.... IMHO, live with your MINI for a bit. Learn how it drives and handles. Then you can decide what you want to change.

Hi and welcome. I went through the wait from late Oct-early Dec. but it's over now. Just remember, deep breaths.

Google: "mini cooper aftermarket"

One you won't find on that page that many of us depend on is Waylon Hunsucker, aka: "Way" of Way Motor Works (WMW).

I agree with Mini2na however. Drive your new baby for awhile. One caveat to that however is to show up at the dealership with a "shorty", short antenna. That whip-like thing MINI uses is silly, especially for a dude.

Way's shorty (LOL)
