After 10 years i finally pulled the trigger
I first had the pleasure of driving a first gen mini cooper about 10 years ago. Working out of town I rent it for 2 weeks.. What a blast! The situation to purchase one never presented itself. Always needed more room for kids and / or a truck for work. So now we are empty nesters and driving the truck is killing me on fuel. The heaviest thing I carry is a notebook and a pen. After shopping around , looking at Subaru and vw beetles I took a mini cooper s and a countryman s for a drive. Loved the S more then the first time I drove one from 10 years past! The countryman is defiantly more " practical " but practical isn't the first priority anymore.
After that long story I pulled the trigger on a 2013 Mini Cooper S.
Pepper white, black roof, JCW package.
Giggled all the way home!
Any advice on what this car may need to get the most out of it?

Just drive it like you stole it
Change the oil at 500 - 1000 mile.
After you have driven it a while come back here with some ideas of what you want to change and we will be more than happy to spend your money
They are a great car just the way they come from the factory. But with that said, almost no one leaves them that way. But everyone has a different idea of what they need; it is all very individual. So we will need an idea of what you want to be able to help you.
Welcome to the MINI madness

Welcome,
What Eddie07S said are my sentiments exactly.
I also pulled the trigger on a 2013 Cooper S in September and took delivery the last week of October and have put on 3300 miles in 6 weeks
I am really enjoying the Mini and have no regrets.
