A Rather Fast 4 Weeks
So after much lurking here (and obtaining some great information) just over 6 weeks ago I put in an order for my new addition. I didn't quite feel it was appropriate for me to join the group b/c I wasn't quite a "Mini owner" as I had only put the order in. However, now that I've signed on the dotted line, taken the 200 mile long way home through the back roads from the dealer and learned more about tracking ships, carriers and VPCs than I ever imagined, Penelope arrived just over 4 weeks at the dealer from the date she was conceived. 
Thus now I'm a new Mini owner, I feel I can properly introduce myself to the group.
I look forward to a lot of great motoring, and learning going forward as a member of the site. Feel free to say Hi.
FYI, it was a quick 9 days (not to me...but in general) from South Hampton to port of Baltimore.

Congrats and welcome!That's one area where us folks out west are at a big disadvantage. It's about three weeks for a ship to deliver its goodies to Port Hueneme.
