Woo hoo!

 

My Highgate has gone AWOL. She got off the ship, got on the carrier and then it looks like she ran away. I am supposed to pick her up tomorrow and they can't find her:(

 

Oh No! That happened to the last car that I bought (Land Rover). It was supposed to be shipped to New York. But they accidentally put it on a boat for San Francisco.

The delivery date came and went. When I called to inquire, they couldn't find it. Needless to say, they were more than a little embarassed. When they finally figured out what was wrong, Land Rover told the dealer that they should let it stay in SF and to find me another car. The GM at the dealer had to step in and put his foot down. He had the car shipped to NYC and had Land Rover pick up the tab. I had to wait about another 3-4 days.

Hope they find your car soon. By the way, the Owner's Lounge still shows my car in England "awaiting Transport". I hope . . . GULP . . . that's not actually where it is.

That happened to my car as well. It was released to the carrier on 10/13 and didn't show up at the dealer until 10/23.

OL doesn't seem very useful or accurate after the car gets to the port of departure. In my case, it was several days late showing up as on the vessel and even though my car arrived at Port Hueneme 2.5 weeks ago, OL still shows it as "En Route".

 

My car has been found. I get to pick her up tomorrow!
