R56 - Lightning Blue - Across the Atlantic
R56 - Lightning Blue - Across the Atlantic
Hi
I'm the proud owner of a R56 "Dooper", across the Atlantic, from Portugal.
I've always have been an Automobile passionate and the New Mini is my last passion.
2nd hand bought, my Cooper was the perfect 2nd car to a day-by-day drive; small distance city drive.
My problem with my cars is that... I always want to change something
.
I have also a MB E350 CDI, and in the very same day bought, went to the local performance store to a ECU-REMAP. The outcome... from stock 231Hp (never tried) to 280Hp (no mechanical mods; only electronics).
But anyway, here is a synthesis of the mods recently done:
-Aesthetic Kit AERO
-Black Housing single Halo Projectors
-LED Daytime Running Lamp & Fog Light
-JCW Big Brake KIT
-Black interior Trims
-Leather Seats
-4 glowshit gauges and Craven pod (oil/water temp; Boost/oil pressure)
-Retrieved stock Sat-Nav
-KW-V3 Suspension Kit
-Anti-roll/sway bars from Eibach
-OMP Strut bar
-Black Matt multi function steering wheel trims
Motor/performance
-FAP Off
-ECU Remap (will post Graphics soon)
-Turbo Upgrade (Garrett 15 to 17)
-Sprint Booster
-Ceramic Clutch
And that's it for now (new mod's coming
Black R112)
8 months of Mod's after... here's the outcome.
Hope you enjoy it.

Until January 2012

The Cooper D hood has no stock scoop. I've bought one and opened the hood. The outcome was the Cooper S hood look

I have bought earlier the M7-RAM Scoop but decided to use the OEM one.

JCW Big Brake KIT

Oil Pressure and Temp sensors

Turbo Boost Sensor

Water Temp Sensor adapter

FAP Off -Bigger Turbo

Strut Bar Before Install.
