Finally bought a Mini

Hey all. I have been mulling buying a Mini since 2002 and finally decided to do so. I knew that it would be difficult to find exactly what I wanted and it took me a while of waiting and searching, but I finally found a Mini with only minor issues that met exactly what I wanted . I knew I wanted a lower mileage first gen Mini that was Indi Blue and included cordoba beige interior and was fully loaded including Nav or Chrono package. The Mini I found is 68K miles and all of the above with a few dings and scratches and minor issues that I am going to fix . I am having so much fun driving this car and can't wait to get it fully customized to my wants.

Welcome! Great choice on the Indi Blue I myself searched high and low for that color as well. The only ssacrifice I made was having to settle for the leatherette (nnot something fun to have during AZ summers...), and some technical issues here and there. But the fun thing was fixing them (some were difficult) and learning more about MINI's along the way.

You enjoy that car. Have fun!

Thanks!
I went through several different versions of what I wanted over a few months of looking and test driving before I finally decided what I needed to be looking for. I wanted either dark grey or blue with the exact color depending on what year I wound up with obviously. I really wanted an Indi blue though. I wanted cloth seats, then I wanted leather, then I wanted cloth again, then I decided on cordoba beige and Indi blue.
She needs a few odds and ends, and I have made a few fixes (all minor stuff) so far. The biggest thing right now is I want to have the door dings removed through PDR and a few minor paint touch ups to be done.

Yeah I really wanted the black/grey cloth seats, but oh well lol

I just bought touch up paint from automotivepaint.com (I think that's it lol). I'll be seeing how it works next week.

My husband did most of the repair work after I bought her:
-Passenger side window regulator (new one came with the car)
-TPMS & ABS light were stuck on (had to replace left sensor)
-Passenger side A-Pillar flew off on the freeway, and I had to drop $60 on a new one, cuz nowhere sells those cheap!

Only thing I need to find is that left corner roof trip piece. I can't find it anywhere!
