I'll be doing the cat herding work for the purchase and operation of a new JCW by my wife. She's really stoked about this.

Any suggestions regarding purchasing are highly welcome, especially concerning buying services like Truecar. We're going to order one right from the configurator right at the 2012/2013 model changeover. Could be tricky.

We're looking forward to being MINI owners and participants in this Forum.

 

Unless you're talking about a Countryman, you'll be ordering a 2013. So long as you are not too far from a dealer, you are better off doing your order at the dealership. The MINI website can be a little squirrelly. Good luck!

 

Thanks - that's just what we did. Used the AAA car buying service and dealt directly with the fleet dept.
