Hello!
I've just joined having stumbled onto this forum while googling how to do an oil change.
I've a 2004 MINI Cooper, purchased three months ago, and I am both terrified and excited to be doing the first oil change on her (myself) this week.
I hope here I have found some people who understand my enthusiasm for my car - unlike my teen daughter who just rolls her eyes at me.

 

just got my first cooper as well. I am likely to change the oil on mine early just because I am antsy to get my hands on the car! (even though it isn't due for another 6 months)

I am curious to hear about any snags in the process. There is no question that I will want to do it myself, but I wonder how much will go into that.

 

I'm sure I'll be back to report how I get on. :-)
