Im looking to get a Used Mini for $7000 or less. I found a 2003 at a mechanic garage that has 190k miles but has a new supercharger, timing belt, seals replaced, tuneup, brakes, other stuff that I cant remember and clean title...The car was left there buy a cutomer because the repair work was $5000 value which he couldnt afford. The interior and exterior is in very good shape. Do you think thats a good deal? should I low ball some? or should i just wait for a better deal to come along?

 

$7,000.00 or less is going to get you a "project" car. I assume if the repair work cost $5,000.00 and was done right that the shop isn't going to take any less than that. But if the shop has been sitting on it for a while, who knows? He may sell it to you for a good price because he knows you'll be back for more repairs.

 

Yeah, for an S, that kind of money is going to get you a very high mileage MINI. Better off spending a little more for a low mileage car or looking at some Justa-Coopers.
