hey everyone

me and the wife just bought a 78 mini austin..She was the one who really wanted the car because she grew up in England around St. Bury and a mini city was her first car when she turned 16...We now live in north Texas together...She had been looking for a good mini for well over a year ..we had a hard time finding one that ran and had no rust and was being sold for a good price..we finally found the one and we have had it for about a month now...We found it in Florida and had it shipped here..The car is in pretty good shape, it has very little rust and the paint and interior is in great shape....

We love our little car, the looks that it gets here in Texas is priceless cause no one has ever seen one...I look forward to learning about these cars and talking with other owners..

Welcome! I had a 1981 Austin Mini, its new home is in...Texas oddly enough.

 

Thanks...She gets out in the hot garage with me too work on it all the time..When we bought it, it had a bad electrical problem. She read the wiring diagram to me while I did the hands on work with the wiring...We work very well together and she is not afraid to get her hands dirty
