Hi All,
I ordered my very first Mini on Monday, July 9th this week. It'll be Crystal Silver, with a sunroof, xenon headlamps, and a bench rear seat.

I've had my first kid in the back of a 2008 2door VW GTI since he was born. He's 2 now and we've got another kid on the way. I do the daycare shuffle in the morning and afternoon, so I need something with 4 doors that I won't hate driving.

I have no idea how long it'll take. My dealer said it's taking on the low end of 6 to 8 weeks, stating he got one in recently in just 5.5 weeks.

That said, I already can't wait.

Congrats! I love my Crystal Silver and my 2 kids love it as well...my '02 R50 was great when they where toddlers but didn't cut it when they got to be 5 or so. You'll find the back seat is perfect for booster seats some day.

captpetek, how old are your kids? My only concern is how well an infant seat will fit. I have a Recaro ProSport seat that will likely fit just fine, and I imagine the infant seat will have to go on the passenger side.

 

My boys are 6 & 7. Yes, I would agree that the infant seat will have to go behind the passenger seat, at least until it's time to flip it to forward facing.
