Announce me!
Alright, I'll announce myself.

First question: a 2003 MINI glovebox doesn't lock, does it?

My turn for questions, why?
Sorry, I should have explained. Three letters: N, Y, C.
Sometimes it nice to leave the windows down when you leave your car briefly to photograph someone being mugged. Ya know, without having to worry about your sunglasses getting lifted.

PS I have to say it is a bit odd. I've never owned a car that had a glovebox I couldn't lock.

Next question: what's the deal with the button that clicks when you "floor" the throttle (on a CVT).
It appears to kickdown a gear. Maybe? Do I need to keep it "clicked down" or just click and release and modulate with throttle. Can't find much reference to it in the owner's manual.
Oh, car of confusion...
