The dealership has found another 13 MC BSE that's sort of like the one I ordered (only the one traveling over proclaims by itemized list to be configured with the items missing on mine). The alterna-MINI is en route to the US via the WW Tiger. It's not destined to be dropped in Savannah, but Baltimore. So, it'll take a while to get to ATL from Baltimore. But skylinezx, our cars are partying together.

 

Yeah my Mini is listed in the dealer inventory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I do not understand the hold up then... Maybe it is what they say it is... I dont know...

It moored just a bit ago too! It's going to take a lot of patience to wait for it to get to willoughby hills from there! Let's hope the logjam at the VDC is done.

Let's hope this one has the correct options on the car for you! I'm still completely puzzled as to how the factory can screw up a build. I've been there and they have a VERY detailed spec sheet that follows every car down the line.

 

Looks like the Athens Highway will reach Baltimore in a couple of hours. Even though I have no indication that my MINI is on it (even my MA's computer shows me still on the dock at Southampton!), I'm hedging my bets that she's on board. It just doesn't make sense that they'd let a MINI sit at the dock for almost two weeks, does it? Both Tarbot and GreyNation have MINIs born the same day as mine, and theirs are en route, so I think mine is, too. Just have to wait for the Athens Highway to hit Charleston in a few days.

 

Looks like the Don Juan was a little early to Halifax... He's been swining on the hook for the past two days. Port birth is scheduled for the 6th... I'm worse than a 6 year old on Christams Eve!

First, hidden under the plastic wrap was not the black roof I was expecting (I wanted kite blue but was told black was the only option) but a kite blue roof!

Second, no Bayswater stripes:< Luckily this is a quick order and application...phew! He'll be getting his stripes later this week
