While I'm not picking up my Lil Ragtop yet , as you guys are. By the way, a big CONGRATS to you all. But I did receive great news today. I haven't been able to understand why I have not received any reports of; in Body shop, in Paint shop, ect. Well it wasn't that far. I had received the VIN, but nothing else. Well, yesterday Lil Ragtop stopped on at the Body Shop, today he is receiving his Pepper White covering. So it's finally advancing. He is due out of production now on March 4th. It's getting fun now. Maybe he will be here for Easter.

Trying to concentrate on work today without much luck. I pick mine up at 4:00 today, the anticipation is too much. Had a nasty client call a little while ago and try to ruin my day, told him he couldn't do it and to go away forever. Gawd, that felt good!....as my fingers continue to thump, thump, thump watching the clock.

Ok, so my Mini was on the same ship as GG's and I STILL have not heard back with an ETA for delivery. Sheesh! 
Oh well, at least the opening game of the Sounders season is Saturday, and there are all kinds of player trades happening. That will take my mind off the Mini for a while.

Excited for those of you that are being united with their Minis. Congrats!! Still hoping the Aida puts on the turbo and gets back on schedule but I guess Monday is right around the corner, Ughhh who am I kidding , that's light years away.

Just got word that my 2013 Eclipse Gray Clubman S with the exterior and interior JCW package, cloth-checkered seats, spoke challenge wheels, chrome-line, is Scheduled for Production!
My dealer gave me my production number as soon as I placed the order, is this out of the norm? I placed the order on Sunday the 24th and it's now the 28th and already scheduled for production.
I've named it Marius after a mythical King of Britain who was ruling in 086 BC.
It's going to be great fun keeping an eye on him through the whole process.

My MA called the trucking company and GG will be delivered tonight after hours. He said I could pick her tomorrow after 1pm. So, I am going to work 1/2 day tomorrow and leave at 1245, head over to the dealership and sweep GG off her feet. I am sure it will be mutual love at first sight! 
A little bummed it's not today but it's only one more day --- I THINK I can make it!

Actually about 1.5 hours after you. You will have to post at least one photo even if you don't have time to take a lot so we actually believe the Gilmoregirls were untied with their GG.

Awesome!!! Had to "Quote" the photos to help spread the Mini ****. Love it as that was one of the two colors I debated about and still wonder if I should have gone blue with a black or white roof. Looks awesome...feel free to post more seductive angles.

He gave them to me, and a hat too and two shirts, a patton leather bag, die cast model and coffee mug! Now I have to spend the evening sitting in the car looking at everything and reading the manual.....make have to make a drink to calm me down.

I know she looks plain now but they are Pictures fresh from unloading her off the truck, just wait until I get ahold of my Alice. I got the call today and am picking her up tomorrow at 5:30 PM (Can't get off work early like GG but would love to if I could)
Already have my Carbon XP Tint scheduled to be installed Noon Saturday and a about 1 hour scheduled with a graphic designer about some vinyl roof art!

Remember more photos later are still loved as much as the first photos and the red bow might be a little over the top but I think they is really cool of the dealership to do to help show they know this is a special Mini that had an owner that missed it before it was even built. Very cool of them.

One major thing I've learned from all of this is that next time I see a tractor trailer hauling Minis I will know those aren't just cars going to a dealership to be sold but there is a REALLY GOOD chance that at least 1 of those Minis already has an owner that is dying to be united with their Mini Cooper.
