Some issues with new Cooper

Hi, new here. I had a 2009 Mini Cooper hardtop which was a lease, just traded in on May 29th, 2012, for a brand new one with more bells and whistles: (foglights, Xenon headlights, Adaptive Light Control, Mini Connected w/Navigation). The rest is the same. Automatic, etc.

A few things I've noticed so far:
I bought the Mini Connected w/Nav. The car is not recognizing my iPhone when I go to plug it in to launch the Mini Connected, but the Bluetooth works. It's the latest iPhone 4S.

The air conditioning coldness is intermittent. If I am in park and sitting there, I am quite cold. When I start to move, it gets warmer and warmer. This was not an issue with the previous car. I am always hot and so this has GOT to be fixed.

There are no paddle shifters on the steering wheel, where my old model had them. I seldom used them, but if I paid for them, they should be there.

I am taking it in in the next week, but want to know what to mention, thanks! Never any issues with the old Mini. Well, a couple. The windows would periodically just go down on their own, and I would take it in, but they never did fix that. The speedometer buzzed quite loudly if you hit 76-80 mph, but we seldom drive 80. Only when my friend drives it is it an issue. Took it in for a fix on that too, but they didn't fix it.

Thanks!

I believe only the S has the paddle shifters. Not aware if they're offered as an option. Good luck.

Let me know what they say about your AC when you take it in because mine is doing the same thing. My closed dealer is 2 1/2 hours away so I haven't had time to take it down

Thanks
