New MINI owner! WS 2011 Justa

Hi guys,

I just bought a (used) 2011 MINI Justa. Lounge leather, Premium, Cold & 16inch wheels in White Silver with about 7800 miles. I am definitely in love with the car. It's a BIG step up from my '97 CR-V.

I've already made a list of the mods I want to do for the car and already looking to invest $100+ in detailing supplies.

Is this type of behavior normal for MINI owners?

First, welcome!!!

I'm fairly new to Mini, so I can't say what others will think... but I think the great thing about Mini is that they are all a little different. I could walk up to one that looks the same as mine, but find out in a couple seconds that it's different. There are just so many options and ways to change your Mini compared to any other Mini.

I'm expecting to see my Mini for the first time in a little less than 3 weeks... and have two things I'm going to do to it in the first week.

Congrats! Yes, that is normal. I wash my car once a week, bought her last July and have now officially washed her more than all the cars I have ever owned, combined! I've added good seat covers, a pulsing third brake light (really good for safety!), graphics, an aftermarket dipstick that is easier to read, added color and graphics to the dash, an iPhone holder, etc. I really recommend the third brake pulsar, search for the thread on it. About $30 and people back off your rear end! Keep an eye on your oil, even a base Cooper needs it's oil taken care of. Enjoy!
