So, I have loved these cars since i was in middle school. I used to love the short trips i got to take in my scout master's 02 chili red MCS. I spent hours on the MINI USA website back in the day, dreaming of when id finally get my own. Now I'm 20, and after years of working and saving, I am proud to report that day has finally come. I have everything lined up so i can take possession of my new-to-me 04 MCS this friday. She is pure silver, has a black roof, and a proper manual gear box. Im a bit nervous about the reliability reputation these cars have gained over the years, but at this point i figure any fun car is going to have its fair share of quirks and issues, and theres nothing one can do about it but to fix them as they arise. But that aside, I am looking forward tremendously to having my own Cooper S, and being able to motor/mod all summer long! Ill post more than my fair share of pictures as soon as i have it cleaned up, all the train station parking stickers removed from the rear bumper, and its rear emblem replaced (only blemishes with the car!).
