Expecting to get my Mini tomorrow!
So, as the title says, I'm expecting to go get my Mini tomorrow.
It's an 08 Mini. Black body, white roof and stripes, premium package.
I went to go meet her (him?) Friday, fell in love, and went to go put my deposit down today. Tomorrow we finalize everything.
Can't wait!
Already trying out names and do believe I've found one that fits but she/he may decide on another one once I get to driving around.

Well, finally got to go get my girl. I was going to name her Reggi, short for Regina (Regina means "queen", England has a queen, Steve McQueen owned a Mini). However, she, and the universe in general, have let me know that she prefers a different name.
Story time!
I was leaving the dealership on Friday after having met her for the first time and deciding whether or not I wanted to take the plunge. Listening to Pandora radio, Ram Jam's Black Betty comes on. Great song but didn't think to much of it at the time.
After picking her up today, however, I'm pulling out of the dealership, listening to a different station on Pandora, and Black Betty by Ram Jam comes on again.
Well, that's a sign if ever there was one.
So, her official name is now Elizabeth Regina Cooper, otherwise known as Betty.
And, after her new car has made her name and personality known so unmistakably, what's a girl to do except turn it up, engage Sport mode, and hit the accelerator?

As a side note, any Mini drivers in Austin, TX? Been trying to think of a nice scenic area to take Betty for photos...
