New Mini owner

just bought a new (for me) 2009 Mini Cooper with 28,000 miles on it. Of course, when I picked it up it only had a little gas, so I put in a couple of gallons... and the check engine light came on! I was bummed.
The next day I filled it up and the light went off. I had talked to the Mini dealer and he said that isn't uncommon.

Now that I got the BC kinda figured out, things are looking up. 360 miles in the first week and I got 34 mpg. What a pleasant surprise.

Wanted a Mini for years... went to school in Australia many years ago and Mini's were everywhere. What fun to own one now

when you get random check engine lights just go through the basic checks (oil, gas cap open, etc...) also with older models when the battery starts to go this car throws all kinds of weird lights.

Welcome and enjoy the MINI. enjoy motoring in your mini
