Well, after gestating since mid-November, my new Mini finally arrived this weekend! It's a Mini Cooper S convertible, laser blue with denim top and white stripes.

I'm switching from an unspeakably drab Ford Fusion Hybrid, so I couldn't be more excited! I'm looking forward to participating in and learning from this community!

I was stationed in Monterey when Fort Ord was open and I know what you mean about the Big Sur or Hwy 1 and your new baby...

I can top that CP - I was born at Fort Ord (back when dinosaurs roamed the peninsula!).

Nice looking Mini! yes these cars are made for highway 1 and all the other great canyon roads out there! Sure do wish I had a mini while I was in Cali I'm a Lemoore CA native myself
