New to the Mini family.

Hey guys I just bought an 06' Mini Cooper S (Hyper Blue w/ White Top and Stripes). I have to say for the 3 months I've owned it I love it. So far I have a KN intake, Invidia cat-back, and sprint booster installed on the car. I am looking to do the pulley and put on some new shoes in the spring after the winter is over (have the s-lites and love them, but the previous owner curbed 2 of the 4 to hell). Anyways just wanted to say hello and if anyone has any advice as to what to watch out for maintenance wise that would be helpful. Hoping I don't run into too many problems as the car has only 38k on it. Cheers, Rich.

Listen for a noise from the front of the engine torards the driver's side. (squealing, grinding that gets progressively worse) seems to start on a lot
of S's at 60-70k. Might be accompanied by oily residue in the intake and engine side of the air filter. This is the water pump drive gearbox(back side of the S.C.)losing its lube through a worn seal. The superchargers themselves are reliable from what I've been reading, it's that gearbox BMW added to the rear that is problematic. Mine is in the shop for that as we speak(fortunately under warranty).
