What rack setup do you have on your mini? Does it clear the sun roof

I think it's called the Thule traverse. I went to my local bike shop and they ordered it. It does clear the sunroof, even with road bikes. Not with our mountain bikes though. My husband rides a Rocky Mountain and it's just heavy enough where it weighs down on the bars. Other than that I love it and have no problems with it.

ok cool. Iv wanted a rack setup for a while but havnt got around to seriously looking at them... they can be pricey. Have you had issues with the base mounts scrathing the roof or anyhting? I would assume you can put padding or something down ..

ps. Nice MINI too!

Haha thanks!! They come with thick pads that are placed down before hand so no scratches. After the rack and the tracks it came out to be around almost $1,000. Pricey yes but well worth it if you bike!
