New (Used) Mini owner in Philly
New (Used) Mini owner in Philly
Last year, I traded my wife's 2002 Elantra GT for a 2007 Dodge Magnum. This year, I made it up to her by trading my 2001 Elantra for a Pepper White 2006 MCS that's kinda tricked out with OEM goodies. It's not that she doesn't like the Magnum, but we got that mainly for our big road trip in May, and not the most convenient/efficient car to park in the city.
I'm waiting to hear back from MINIUSA.com about a build sheet based on the VIN, but man do they pack a lot into this little car. I've only driven it twice now, but I hope we get a lot of mileage out of the car - even though someone else already has (It had 99,960 on the odometer when we drove off with it)
I bought my 01 Elantra new, put 155,000 miles on it, it was (don't scoff) a GREAT car (still is, but now my neighbor owns it) - I'm a bit wary of picking up where someone else left off, but I'm encouraged by the community here. I've joined similar communities for the Hyundais and the Magnum, but this site dwarfs both of those.
I've already bookmarked a number of threads, but if there's anything in particular I should keep in mind as the odometer turns over to six digits, I appreciate any pointers.
Thanks!
