Hi!

I just got my 1st Mini about a month ago, and I love it! I have always loved mini's and am very excited to finally have gotten one!

I live in the Chicago suburbs and decided to finally get my mini, because I work almost 50 miles from home and needed good gas mileage. So when my Honda died I decided I wanted a fun to drive good on gas car. The only choice for me was mini!

I have an 03 S, I have what I have learned is a common problem. My glove box door keeps falling open and I was wonder what other drivers has done to resolve this issue. I'm thinking my brother and I will replace it. Any suggestions?

I would suggest doing a search in the Gen1 forums for a solution to your glovebox issue.

Post a pic of your MINI. that way someone might recognize you if you're spotted on the road. Enjoy!!

Congrats and welcome! Sounds like the latch on the glove box is loose. I'm not sure what the fix is, but it has to be on here someplace. Have fun with your R53! Pics! (/^.^)/

 

Thanks, for the info MiniMac! I was trying to wait until I got the windows tinted and the new rims. I ask my brother to shoot a few pics and post them. Before and after shots.
