Quick introduction!

I just purchased a 2006 Mini Cooper in pepper white, black roof, and black bonnet stripes. I've named her Winnie, and so far I am head over heels. *gush* I've wanted a mini for a very, very, very (very) long time, so I am pretty excited!

I don't know much about the world of Minis, as I was previously a VW GTI VR6 owner, but that's why I decided to join the community here and learn some things.

I have yet to take decent photos, but I will try and post at least one! My first project is going to be getting rid of the front chrome pillars that are stuck on.. I want to keep her humble but classy and simple

Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

Welcome. Unlike the seeming majority here, I in fact LIKE chrome. In moderation. Those eBay pillar covers are not to my liking, though. Be careful in their removal. One thing I learned very early on is that the underlying black a-pillar pieces can just dislodge themselves, so try not to stress them too much.

Agreed, I actually don't mind chrome in moderation, and of course, done tastefully. But these plastic-y things have got to go. Thanks for the tip on removal, I definitely don't want to cause any damage.
