New Mini Owner

I just purchased a "New" Cooper. Its just the base model but in great shape. It does have the CVT Trans but it has a brand new Dealer installed replacement. I bought it from a young girl who said she never had any issues until one day it it just didn't drive right then the next day it wouldn't move. The dealer replaced both axles at the time of the trans install. I am a mechanic so all the little issue i have been reading about do not scare me. I did notice it looked as though the coolant tank was leaking so first thing Monday i'll be ordering one as well as a new power steering res. I read through the buyers guide and it was quite informative. I love to read about the new cars i buy. Almost on an OCD level. I'll post pics as soon as the sun comes up enough to light the driveway.

Thanks for the forum,
JOE

Welcome to the MINI world! Yes the leaking coolant tank is a long time old issue.
