Trying to decide on color!!!!!

Hello everyone! I have worn out my husband and friends asking their opinions about colors and accessories....so I thought I would join a support group...errrrr...I mean, forum!!! I thought choosing the color would be the easiest thing to do....but I am stuck! My hubby would love to place the order for my Countryman S so I might possibly get it for Christmas....he's just waiting on me. I drive a graphite steel Grand Cherokee right now. The color is similar to Royal Grey...which I really like. That is one of my choices...Royal Grey with a white top and white sport stripes. My other choices are the Light White blacked out and the True Blue with white top and sport stripes. There does seem to be a lot of white Countrymans out there already. I had originally wanted yellow...but after seeing the color sample at the dealer...it looked like it had some green in it or something...not the pleasant yellow I was hoping for. At one point I was convinced I wanted the Crystal silver with white roof and white stripes, but I found out the white Countryman stripes don't have the black outline like the Hardtops do. The solid white on silver is too subtle... the black outline gave it detail. Anyway...I tend to like the white tops on the colors, so if anyone has pics of my color combos and would like to share, I would appreciate it. I'm sure whatever color I choose will be amazing. This is my first MINI and the ability to build my own is such an awesome perk!

TippyKayak has a nice Countryman, it is True Blue and has a white top. A very sharp looking combination!

I also agree with you on the yellow for the Countryman - not a good looking color.

I think any of the Countryman blues look good with a white roof, as does the Royal Grey, Light Coffee, and Pure Red. I agree that there do seem to be a lot of white C-man with black roofs around already, and the yellow is pretty weak. You might peruse these threads:

Any way you go, enjoy your new Countryman - and we want pics when it arrives!

Dont let that lack of black edge on the bonnet stripes dissuade you from silver if you like it. Should be very easy to find someone local who can put on stripes of whatever color you want...

I've seen the yellow countryman in person and it is not a pretty car. Just my opinion, I'd def stay away from it.

Thanks for the help!! Keep it coming!

I am really growing on the True Blue!!!
Can anyone out there tell me about the checkered sunroof? Specifically, does it make checkered shadows inside the car or is it all opaque and just shield the sun more?
