First time Mini owner
Hey all! As a new Mini owner, I wanted to drop in and say hi!
Just got my 2011 MCS about 6 weeks ago and I am enjoying it sooo much! It really is just like driving a go-kart (legally on the roads!) and it certainly draws some attention.
I love having unique cars (I can always find it in the parking lot) as well as fun cars. Additionally, the nearest Mini dealer is about 120 miles away, so Mini's in our area are a somewhat rare occurance.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to using this site in the future.

Sara - Thanks for the comment on the stripes! I did those myself and was very pleased on how they turned out. Sorry for the lousy pics, I will post better ones soon.
Number Six - I am located in western Illinois on the border of Iowa. Have to go to Chicago to get to a dealer. It's surprising honestly, our area has a population of almost 300k.
