Wait times for 2012s

Has anyone waited longer than what their MA originally told them the wait would be?

I was told 6 - 8 weeks when I ordered. Took delivery in 6 weeks, 2 days.

Dealer had a slot to give me. From what I have heard, that can be a factor in delay.

Same here - MA said 6-8 weeks from date of order - it took just over 6 weeks. This was for a Clubman S. When I picked up mine I asked him about the wait times on Countryman models - he said for a 5 speed they can usually get one in within 8 or so weeks. If you order a automatic he's had customers waiting up to 4 months.

Ok.. I guess I'm just a little paranoid. I saw some people saying their MINIs sat in South Hampton for 2 weeks.

One week delay for me but reasonably in the time frame. Mine was already built and it happened to match what I was looking for (although more loaded than I needed but happy it was!)

I believe mine was six and a half weeks, and that's counting travel time to the Left Coast! I believe I was told to expect it around October 12th, and I actually got it on the 7th.

My local dealer said I can put in my order today, production will begin in november and I should get it in Feb 2012

Found a low mileage one and saved some money!
