My Royal Grey Countryman All4 is on the Manon right now. Any bunk mates checking in?

 

Maybe no CM's but I bet some Coupes/Hathbacks/Clubmans will join you when Manon gets to Southampton.

Looks to be anchored just waiting in the channel. I guess they got there too early and can't take up the port space until their scheduled time. ShipAIS says they are 'At Anchor' just killing time... lol

I think there is a backup at the port..

My car has been at the port for 10+ days and hasn't moved on a boat yet (3 boats have come and gone while I was at the port)

It's a good thing the cars are so good. BMW's logistics and customer communications are just awful.

 

I'm going to put in a call to the Captain and tell him to forget about waiting and just leave all those hardtops and clubmen in South Hampton and just come direct to NY with my Countryman.

 

It is on the move again.

Thanks...You too. It took 2 or 3 days after being loaded on to know I was already on Manon. I thought I was going to have to wait for Electra next Wednesday.
I really thought I was going to be able to handle the wait like a mature adult...I guess not. It's all I can think about.

 

I didn't make it on Manon. Looks like Elektra, 10/2/11, for me.

 

Are you sure? It took until Friday night before I was able to find out I had been on my ship 2 days earlier. I thought I was going to wait for elektra too as it left Bremmerhaven without my Countryman on it, but then when it was about to dock in Sweden, my mini was registered as on the ship.

 

I'll keep checking today, but 15 mins ago, there was "no record" on WW site when I entered my VIN.

 

Well, good luck. I know I'd have gone insane if I had to wait through multiple boat departures without being on one.
Mine arrived at the port the day before one was leaving so I figured I'd miss that one but I did get on the next one which was Manon, so I only had 1 week at port. Then again, Countrymen get an extra week of transport since we have to go to 3 more stops.
