2011 Mini Cooper Convertible

Can anyone give me any info on the nose guard? Also, I have been looking either for a hitch or bike rack for my mini convertible. (Not a CooperS).
Thank you

Hmm. You might want to try the convertible forum if you don't get any hits here.

I just had the Minidomore installed on my 2011 S Convertible last week (8/26/11).
I've only used it for quick trips so far (under 20 miles both ways) but I am excited about it.
I have an Allen 3-bike hitch rack on it that seems to work just fine for my needs.

I researched both the Mini Fini and the Minidomore and went with the Minidomore because of the standard hitch.... I felt I could use more options with the 1 1/4" standard hitch receiver.

FYI - It's tricky to attach the bike rack because the hitch is located above the dual exhaust and there isn't a lot of wiggle room for the wrenches. I ended up going out to Lowes to purchase a ratchet extension to have more room to work with. I've only tried it a few times but it gets easier each time.

I appreciate your help but I don't have the CooperS. Just the plain Cooper.

Hi Mini Mama,
Great pictures. I have 2011 Mini CopperS Convertible exactly same as yours, even color. Loved it!
I need to have receiver hitch same as yours. How do I find out if there are any installation shop in Los Angeles, CA? I want to have the same hitch receiver as your badly!

Nice day!

Hey Mini Mama et al,

I just bought a 2011 Cooper S Convertible and I'm excited to come up with a bike rack solution. Now that you have a year under your belt, do you still love your MiniDoMore hitch solution? Anybody else have any ideas/advice/suggestions?

Also, does anyone have any seat cover suggestions? I prefer a sheepskin style to the neoprene style I've seen discussed here.

Thanks!
