Meet Ellie
After admiring MINIs my entire life, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2008 Cooper S last week. I grew up in a military family, so during one of our tours in Europe (1984-1987), we drove an old red MINI. When I saw that they were being introduced to the US, I knew I would have to get one eventually.
I named her Ellie as an homage to Eleanor, the 67 Mustang Fastback from Gone in 60 Seconds (the remake). I feel like Ellie is a smaller, more nimble version of Eleanor.
I need to post pics of the interior as well, because that is what gets everyone to stop in their tracks and the girls to drop their......jaws.
