New to NAM with my 2nd Mini
Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and say hey to the guys on the forum. I know you guys probably don't want to read my life story, so I'll make it brief.
I got my first Mini in April 2009 and crashed it 9 months later. I never joined the forums because I didn't have internet access at the time, so I didn't get to go to any meets or what have you. After having crashed my first one and being stuck with a Jeep for a year and a half, I finally took the plunge and bought my second MCS. I couldn't be happier.
As for right now, she's a stock 07 but I have some mods in mind for her. Springs first of all to give her a lower, more aggressive look, and I'm trying to find some nice staggered 17" wheels that run 215's in the front and 225's in the back (crosses fingers hoping they'll fit). Besides that, I'm looking at a light rail and four Hella 500's to install on the lower grille (cant find any legitimate websites that offer both for purchase without seeming shady). Besides that, I want the rear-center fog light to give it that formula 1 center brake light look, and that just about covers it. If I can find someone that sells the brake dams for the lower grille from the 2011's, I'll just hop on that and get two fog lights instead of four. Let's see what happens.

I apologize about all the clutter, but I figured you guys would appreciate my pictures and videos. Just a note, I don't drive my R56 aggressively anymore, I'm perfectly content with driving 35 mph and doing only 65 on the freeway. After having lost my R53, I'm just enjoying having another MCS to have as my DD. Although I did have fun on Mulholland tonight after work, but it was at a casual pace and definitely didn't bother turning on Sport mode. I stayed in 3rd/4th gears through the entire drive. :P
