Headliner

I have recently bought a used 2002 Cooper S with about 70K on the clock. Most of its life has been on the heat of Texas and yesterday the headliner above the driver's side came unglued, the glue having heat-degraded. The question is 2 part - 1- Has any other Mini Cooper owner had this same problem? and 2 - Can the roof liner be replaced or does anyone have a suggestion for alternatives?

I test drove 3 different Coopers in the Austin area when I was looking for mine that had drooping headliners - they were all 2004's.

You can fix the headliner, or re-do it with new cloth as well, I haven't done this on a Mini but it wasn't too big a project on the other cars I've owned that I had to do it on.
