My MINI Clubman!

This is my Clubman that I picked up on Friday at a Mercedes dealer. It is a day that I will remember forever! I traded in my 2009 Dodge Journey that had 26700 miles on it. We live 2 hours from the dealership and after we got the approval and go ahead we made our way to pick up the new Mini....to say I was excited is quite the understatement!! We get aprox. 10 miles from the dealer where we are trading in our car and the engine light decides to come on and starts spitting and sputtering. I called the Dodge dealer and was told not to drive it!! To say I was devastated, pissed off, and irritated...wasnt even the start of what I was feeling at that moment. We drove it down the road to the Auto Zone and was told it was a couple of sensors, which were small and cheap to replace. I called the dealer to let them know what was going on and to my surprise they were very patient and understanding of our situation. They came and got us and towed the Dodge to their lot. They were great people to work with and I am so happy that it didnt mess up me getting my Mini....which would have been devastating!!!

I have spent tons of time on here trying to find the information I am looking for and I cannot find it. I want to blacken my lights that are in the wheel wells and the side marker. I went and got some tint film today, but not so sure that will work. After looking at the forum I see people are using some tinting paint.....my concern is if it will come off if I have to remove it and do I have to remove the lights to do this to them? Being a female and having a husband who is not handy AT ALL....I need some help!!! I tried to post in the interior and exterior forum, but it wont let me post for some reason. I would like to get some different side markers as well, but cannot find where to get them for my 2010 Clubman....I see them for the other models tho. PLEASE help!! Thanks!!!

Sorry, I don't know squat about tinting the lights but I just love those stripes. Sharp looking Clubman, congratulations. Mine is being built as I write this and can't wait for it to make its way over.

Those stripes were already on there, but I like them as well. I just got back from a drive and washing the Mini! I ordered my first Mini from the factory the way I wanted it and the wait def sucks! I knew my VIN by heart by the time I received mine.....dealer thought I was bat #$@$...lol. I found some products from Outmotoring for the side marker lens and films. I just need to take out the orange "disc" in the headlight and find the appropriate turn signal light to make it legal after I take out the "disc". Auto Zone workers where I live at dont know #%$^ and couldnt help me find what part I needed that would fit in the Mini.

The stealth bulbs are chrome looking but flash yellow. You can bake the light apart to get the amber lens out or try to break it from behind and shake the parts and pieces out, then replace the turn signal with a yellow bulb.
