keyfob settings/personal profile

Since I picked up my Mini, the Bluetooth was not working. So after a few days I took it back and it was replaced with a new Bluetooth module. Awesome! But then a few other things have changed as well; something they've done at service maybe? Lights blink when I lock or unlock the car, after a minute driving the doors lock automatically....is this all set up through the keyfob? Just wondering, I was reading about it, and all these things were not working when I just got the Mini.

most of what you've listed are simple preference settings that were probably changed when u brought the car to the dealer. read through your owners manual for the most descriptive explanation, but they can be changed through the tachometer with the key fob in the car (for some of the settings, the car needs to be running i think)

Yes. Many settings are stored in the key fob (not sure this is true for all MINIs but it's true for my '11 with convenience package).

When my MA was going over all the options with me he had both fobs in the car so that they'd both pick up the settings we were messing with.
